Sarawak Headhunter Declares Unilateral Truce

In order to allow PKR to concentrate on the upcoming by-elections in Batang Ai as well as the other two in Malaya, Sarawak Headhunter hereby declares a unilateral truce in the battle between himself and the PKR Kuching Mafia. This truce will last until 7th April, 2009 or until broken by any member of the PKR Kuching Mafia, whichever is earlier.

At the moment no general amnesty is being considered in view of the PKR Kuching Mafia's intransigence and recalcitrance, and mopping up operations will continue after 7th April, 2009 (or earlier, as the case may be).

Sarawak Headhunter regrets any collateral damage caused to innocent bystanders and advises anyone not directly involved to stay out of the battleground.

Rodent extermination will continue until all pest control objectives have been met, entirely for the benefit of the rakyat.

Good of you. Let focus on Batang Ai and after that we hopefully can settle the differences between the PKR "Kuching Mafia" and your goodself. I did not know that my party has a mafia in our midst.

TQ Swak Hdhunter. Our common mission: PR must win Batang Ai.

We could be sharing the same suspicion that there are indeed a group of party members who are serving the interests of both Tun Rahman and SUPP tycoons. The other group if they join will be serving the interest of Najib and Hishamuddin. Bewars of Hafsa Harun, Dominique Ng, Sng Chee Hwa and Tedwin(who has yet to join PKR)

Al, say it's not so, you did not cave! I am kidding ... I understand. PKR might be the solution for the moment but that does not mean that it is the solution for always. It cannot be the end, but merely the means to an end.

Perhaps if victory comes, it will be the catalyst for change. And someday Sarawak will have a political party that is uniquely it's own -- one that is not Dayak, Malay, Melanau, India or Chinese, but Sarawakian.

I suspect that PKR is not it ... it doesn't quite "get" Sarawak. You had mentioned the first Keadilan liaison,Yusuf Abdul Rahman, in a previous posting and that is a perfect example of what I am talking about. While I do not agree that Yusuf can qualify as a Melanau, I nontheless think that he was the perfect choice who never got the support he should have had from his party.

However, Keadilan never quite understood his unique family connections and certainly never capitalized on then. His family has served the people of Sarawak in multiple capacities since before the time of the Brookes. His ancestral grandfather was a Melanau chief, his English great grandfather was resident under Charles and then Vyner Brooke and served from Lundu to Lawas and was eventually Colonial Secretary; another GGGrandfather was resident in Kuching and Mukah, and was the driving force behind the Sarawak Rangers. This is a man who understands public service.

What Keadilan failed to recognize, Dominique and this Hafsah Harun (sp?) certainly did. He was a threat to their political ambitions and they undermined and cut him down faster than you could say abracadabra.

Until the people in PKR can put their personal political ambitions aside, and understand that there is a time when the whole must be greater than its parts, PKR will never succeed in Sarawak.

How will history judge the people who cost Sarawak her chance to get out of the Taib bondage?

Voices like yours must never be silenced.

OLFTGM, your comments intrigue me and also put me in a dilemma. I cannot respond without breaking my own self-declared truce. But I will respond after 7th April.
