As Dayak Nation put it, "This man who said "That is why I think that issue (NCR) will be dropped from now on, as I think you cannot beat a dead horse over and over again…." was forced by his political master UMNO, and PBB to declare war with his own dayak bloggers."
"...Finally this BN Dayak leader began to unzip his mouth. Our advice is to join us to fight for the rights of the Dayak, and set targets against his boss, Jabu, Jabu’s boss (Ketuanan Taib), Taib's boss (Ketuanan UMNO), Umno instructs Taib, Taib instructs Jabu, Jabu forces Masing..and so on. Support Ketuanan Rakyat not Ketuanan UMNO…. UMNO will make the decision for Masing on his candidate on Batang Ai on this Saturday. Stay tuned.."
James Masing has shown once again that the only dead horse that can be beaten over and over again is himself and PRS. If he really thinks that the NCR issue "will be dropped from now on", he is deluding himself and trying to fool all Sarawakian natives.
As long as he can be beaten over and over again, his position as Minister of Land Development is largely irrelevant when it comes to NCR land development. Perhaps he can tell us why at least 600,000 hectares of NCR land development already approved by his ministry remain undeveloped because Taib and Awang Tanah (acting on Taib's instructions) are holding up the remainder of the process (which comes under the Ministry of Resource Planning and Mismanagement).
How is it possible that James Masing allows himself to be bullied by Taib and Awang Tanah time and again on NCR land issues largely at the expense of the Ibans whom he purports to represent? Unless of course he doesn't really represent the Ibans at all but only himself, in which case all he cares about is his own position.
In that case we can understand why he would wish the NCR issue to be dropped, since fighting for it would put him at loggerheads with Taib and seriously jeopardize his position. Why should he risk his position to fight for the customary rights of the Ibans and other natives?
Why should the Ibans and other natives of Sarawak continue to support James Masing if he cannot defend let alone fight for their customary rights?
This applies to all other BN Dayak leaders and representatives as well.

Bloggers warned not to fan communal fires
By Joseph Tawie | Mar 11, 09 11:55am, Malaysiakini
Comments by Sarawak Headhunter in red.
Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) president James Masing has accused Dayak bloggers of playing politics by raising issues concerning the community.
Does this guy really have a PhD or what? Of course Dayak bloggers are playing politics! Nothing wrong with that! They are raising issues concerning the community that Dayak "leaders" like him have been avoiding dealing with because they are all scared of Taib.
“The bloggers raising issues about Dayaks are pitting members of the community against one another,” said Masing, who is state land development minister, when asked to comment on a Malaysiakini report about the role of Dayak bloggers in the coming Batang Ai by-election.
Who's trying to fan communal fires here if not Masing himself? What he really means of course is that the Dayak bloggers raising issues about Dayaks (nothing wrong with that surely) are pitting the members of the community against their purported "leaders" - nothing wrong with that either surely if these leaders like Masing, Jabu and Mawan are not helping their own community to overcome these issues but just keeping quiet like trapped rats.
The by-election, triggered by the death of PRS vice president, Dublin Unting on Feb 24, will be held simultaneously with two other by-elections in Bukit Gantang and Bukit Selambau on April 7.
It was reported that the Batang Ai by-election has taken on a new dimension with party leaders and campaign workers turning to the blogsphere to reach out to urban, educated voters and through them, reach out to those in longhouses.
From comments left on blogs, it seems that many are accusing Dayak leaders of failing to fight for the rights of the community, especially for the customary land rights of the Dayaks.
There is obviously something wrong here somewhere. Surprise, surprise, Masing, looks like the NCR land issue is not a dead horse after all! If it's a dead horse, who shot it?
Political turmoil in Sarawak
Masing said, “If the bloggers are smart and feel that they are the champions of the Dayak community, they should not let Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) push them into fighting against their own kind".
“Why should bloggers and Dayaks allow PKR, a peninsula-based party, to bully them?”
They should just let the so-called Dayak leaders continue to bully them instead? Masing you idiot, they are fighting for their own kind not against them!
They will chop you and your kind up and make manok pansoh out of you! (as suggested by one commentator below).
And what are UMNO or BN if not peninsular-based parties as well? Kindly explain if you can how PKR is bullying bloggers and Dayaks!
Usually it is someone in a more powerful position who can bully another who is in a weaker position, just like between Taib and Masing. Is PKR in any such position of power to bully anyone? This is a new theory here, you studied it in anthropology, Masing, is it? Or you just made it up? You have told so many lies that you must be getting confused.
What Masing wanted was for all Dayak bloggers and Dayaks to support his candidate at the by-election to “show to the world that we Dayaks can be together and if we can do that, people will not be able to push us around”.
Now he finally admits that the Dayaks are being pushed around! If PKR is not in a position to push around the Dayaks, then by whom are they being pushed around if not by Taib and the BN regime, of which Masing is himself a part?
And his solution is for them to be together with him? Why should the Dayaks want to be together with him under the BN just to be bullied forever?
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Alfred Jabu warned that if PKR won the Batang Ai by-election, there would be political turmoil in Sarawak.
This is why he has got his own list of candidates for Batang Ai, ignoring James Masing's list of one candidate which was rejected by Taib, another instance of Masing being bullied by Taib and Jabu.
This is another idiot who thinks that everyone else is more stupid than himself. And who would cause this political turmoil if not the BN if it loses? Why should PKR cause any turmoil if it wins? Even ordinary longhouse folk will know how to reject such illogical thinking and reasoning.
“The political turmoil in the peninsula could creep into Sarawak, if PKR wins the Batang Ai by-election. Recent incidents in West Malaysia involving PKR and its Pakatan Rakyat partners show that the opposition is disrespectful of culture, customs and even the royal institution.
The political turmoil in Malaya is caused by the still in shock BN regime which still cannot accept the reality of rejection and defeat in 5 states. It is caused by the BN regime trying to defy the will of the people and subverting the constitution, the legislature, judiciary, executive, administration, police and all instruments of government, including the royal institution, to do so - UMNO is the one which is actually disrespectful of culture and customs and the royal institution.
In Sarawak, who is it that is denying the customary land rights of the natives?
“Batang Ai must be retained as a BN fortress. Do not give way for them to win,” said Jabu.
If they (PKR) win, Jabu's wealth and position will be at stake, and also that of Masing and the rest of the BN Dayak gang of thieves who have not only robbed the graves of their ancestors but the future of their descendants as well.
This will also be the beginning of the end of Taib's evil regime.
To the people of Batang Ai, do not let Taib and his evil cohorts like Masing and Jabu cheat you of victory and of deciding your own future. Your votes count.
Sarawakians for Batang Ai! Agi idup agi ngelaban!

Masing is now talking like a clone of Jabu. Both of them are eating out of Taib's hand. To hell with the rest of you Dayak peasants as long as we get our freebies from Taib. Losing your land to the Foochows? Who cares. As long as Taib give us thousands of acres. I hope the people of Batang Ai and the rest of Sarawak will not be fooled once again.
Your comment, SHh: “This is a new theory here, you studied it in anthropology, Masing, is it? Or you just made it up?”
Uhmmm, for your kind information, Masing has done his Ph.D. research on how to appease gods like Mahmud and Jabu (“The Coming of the Gods: An Iban invocatory chant …” Click these links for details: http://catalogue.nla.gov.au/Record/2975582 and http://en.scientificcommons.org/james_jemut_masing). Yup, I don’t think that he understood Dayaks’ plight, NCR, whatever, as he’s just specializes in appeasing gods, lah!
Anyway, I heard “rumors” that BN is now started paying the “oil rebate” to those with outboard engines. Oil rebate?! Or is it for “Langkau/Chap Ah Moy rebate” – another evil way to “intoxicate” the voters’ minds???
Do we want leaders who prefer to be bullied by Taib Dayaks? Rather than to serve us the voters?
Vote Pakatan Rakyat.
urmmm....can u pls make ur mind free..?dunt kerumbak2 la...stand as a dayak!shout as a real dayak warrior.y still set up other ppl/race idealism in our mind? Still not wake up?or just want to tunjuk terror?or just follow the other bloggers?cammon la..y not u talk bout motivation for the dayak?y must bring this kind of dirty revolution to us?plz....i m nt pro bn or wat..i just meluat...y u all still hope othr ppl or race lead us?y still hope dsai lead us?the result will b same la...nobody can change our life colour unless we(dayak) unite.
Masing can't even bring road to Kapit. How can we trust this man. He has long leaving his fate in the hand of Taib.
Let's support PKR in Batang Ai instead of UMNO with its Ketuanan Melayu.
You are in your element again here! Although I felt a little uncomfortable with your last post on Dominique, you are back to your usual self here. Simply love your razor-sharp logic. Your arguments simply cut off Masing's head from his shoulders, and leave him speechless, and ready to be further cut up to be cooked as manok pansoh. Well, a PKR victory in Batang Ai is good not only for S'wak, but for Malaysia as a whole.

first you ruffle their feathers ..
then you get under their skins ...
next you make them dance to your music ..

ROYAL INSULT- Six Bloggers to be charged.
Six people nationwide will be hauled up in court for insulting Perak Sultan Azlan Shah in blogs or through the posting of comments.
So guys mind your language, esp. now everybody is busy with Batang Ai by-election looming, no time to visit lock-up residents.
Survey says UMNO corrupt !
Umno has received a slap in the face just ahead of its key annual meeting, with many voters polled in a survey seeing the country's biggest political party as corrupt and out of touch with the ground.
Perhaps its time for local bloggers to conduct similar survey on PBB. I am inclined to think PBB is more corrupt than UMNO.Perhaps Sarawak Headhunter may initial the survey and start the ball rolling by investigating Jabu's bank account.
Dr.JJM just a piece of extra and dead meat in BN-Sarawak, nothing less and nothing more...so PRS is made a laughing stock in DUN with all mute, damb and deaf gang of DUN YBs. They coose to be bullied, cannot balme any other people
Glad to inform that the war of words or rather the minor misunderstanding between blogger friend Sarawak Headhunter and YB Dominique is now history. Its has been amicably resolved, thanks to the mediator role of Dayakbaru and with USA fully satisfied that SH is certainly not under BN payroll.Warring parties agreed to march on in ensuring victory for PKR candidate in Batang
Dr Bean,
Please do not post misleading messages here. There is/has been no resolution, amicable or otherwise, of the dispute between me and the Kuching Mafia of PKR Sarawak. There will be no resolution until they have been removed/neutralised.
If PKR does not act to do so, that is PKR's own lookout. PKR has been warned.
If PKR continues to allow the Kuching Mafia of the party to hold sway, then PKR Sarawak is doomed, which will be a pity.
SHh,
Please don’t cry… Nah! Have some goodies; let’s go fishing…
Dr. Bean's contention is noble,to ensure unity in PKR.However if you chose to continue raging war against YB Dominique that is your business, your problem and your choice, not mine.
I know, PKR leadership knows you have personal grauge aginst YB & Hafsah Harun but sad you chose to wash dirty linen in the public.
My six sense tell me, if PKR leadersip is to make a choice though hard as it may be,they will get rid of trouble maker in the party and perhaps keep the Kuching Mafia but not without stern warning.Mind you I could be deadly wrong.
mr. masing, we would like to give you a chance but you disappointed us... so you gave us no choice but to make sure BN lose in batang ai, ensepi asai sida
Sinu amai aku meda bala sida iban ba PRS, enti baka nya enda iboh kita PRS gagau bekimpen ba Batang Ai. Asoh pulai aja bala sida Youth PRS laban kami ukai enda nyukong kita tang kami enggai ka manok sida jabu. Kami nyukong sida penyakal laban enti BN menang nya meh tanda iya kitai iban agi nyukong pemerintahan kuku besi....Jaik burong bala sida jabu enggau taib leboh maya election tu lagi....uuuuuuuuuhhhhhaaaaaaahhhh
Calling all young voters in LA, please take your leave, unrecorded leave or what ever leave that your have, bring down the cronies of CM's and his "Dogs". Make a change, protect our land. If you ask around people in Engkilili along the river area (forgot what is the name of the river - the area where Basi, spalau is), you will know what happened there.
