No Unity Without Equity

Many have, purposely or otherwise, missed the main point of Sarawak Headhunter's previous posting "Sarawak For Sarawakians" - that there can be no unity without equity. The Malaysian nation faces disintegration if some of its component parts do not deal with the other parts with equity.

There can be no equity if one's agenda is only one's own race or region or self or family or cronies and friends. Do not then be surprised if disunity is the result. The oppressed will ALWAYS sooner or later rise against their oppressors. Oppressors are those who put themselves, their race, their region, their families, their cronies and friends above everyone else. They deny the greater good for their personal gain and thus commit oppression upon oppression.

Even great empires will collapse when the descendants of those who have been sacrificed on the altar of parochial greed and lust for power say "enough is enough!" Malaysia is not an exception.

The way things are going, independence for Sarawak is not a dream, but will one day become a reality when most Sarawakians wake up to the inequities that have been perpetrated upon them by the ungrateful Malayans and by their own local petty tyrants themselves such as Taib Mahmud (with the full backing of the UMNO bully boys).

It is up to Sarawakians themselves whether they want to wake up or not or continue to allow themselves to be deceived by the exhortation of deceitful crooks to be "united". How is it possible to be united when there can be no unity without equity?

Dear Sarawakian, before we think of independence, we need to think of our own capability. Do we capable enough to rule ourselves ? If not, same "white hair" politician will rules us again. We need to promote equity education system to all. At least we can topple such politician when needed.

We have too many school drop-out students. We need to build an awareness of education to all Sarawakian. Education will help us to be strong & brave.

Let's encourage them to get a higher education before we say anything about independence !

Can we trust Opposition/Pakatan Rakyat?

Anwar cannot be a good prime minister-in-waiting without having good ministers-in-waiting. How long can he run away from the task? If he cannot present an alternative team to run the country before the next elections, can we really trust him to lead the country? By the way, the DAP predicts that elections will be called within a year after Datuk Seri Najib Razak's succession as prime minister.

Anwar is a prime minister-in-waiting, where are his ministers-in-waiting? He can't rule the country by himself, right? He needs not only the numbers to form a sustainable parliamentary majority, but also a quality team to form a competent cabinet.

No one is suggesting that the Pakatan Rakyat lacks old hands and young blood who can do a better ministerial job than their Barisan Nasional (BN) counterparts. The question is, who, and for which ministry.

Yes take the easy way out. Don't bother fighting for our rights. This is the way of cowards. always threaten secession when we don't get our way. Always blame other people when we in fact voted for the PBB/SPDP/PRS/SUPP. Orrrrrr can it be YOU are a TOOL of SOMEONE for him to be the Sultan?
