Sarawak Headhunter Declares War

Sarawak Headhunter today declares war on racism in any form.

The first target is that dirty newspaper Utusan Malaysia. While their boss, the erstwhile PM of Malaysia, is trying to put forward his "1Malaysia" concept, opportunistic though it may be, they are blatantly pushing a racist and racial agenda. Obviously this is both a challenge to Najib as well as a warning to the other races of this country.

Their headline today reads "Bangkitlah Melayu" and they are blaming this highly provocative incitement on the "extreme" demands of the other races - how convenient! THIS IS SEDITION!

If Najib doesn't take immediate and stern action against Utusan Malaysia, Khir Toyo and other dastardly proponents of this deadly doctrine, such form of extremism will put paid to his "1Malaysia" concept and tear this nation apart. This threatens to be more explosive than we all know what.

Any Dayak wants to fight them with "Bangkitlah Dayak"? THAT IS ALSO SEDITION!

Is this what we want? ALL Sarawakians and Malaysians should protest and declare war on all forms of racism as well, not because we favour Najib's opportunistic doctrine or concept, but because that is the right thing to do.

And that will send a message to these feudal chauvinists that we do not tolerate such nonsense.

Sedition as it may sound to be, but that will be the way for UMNO to rot itself to hell sooner than later.

UMNO are a drunken goon who will employ any means to get thing right and hastened their way to history. There is no other way, they knows better than to destroy themselves faster than we can think off.

Whatever it is, let them say whatever they want, the more we response to their mad idea, the better they like it most.

So to all sober and right think and peace loving Malaysian, just ignore this UMNO Moron and don't let their ugly ideology tormented our mind, but we must move forward and create a better way to hastened their demised on the surface of Malaysian Soil forever and ever, with immediate effect.

So in the next General Election - our main responsibility is to erase all the BN goon out of the Malaysian Political scenery for ever. And that for sure, but had you registered as a Voter already?

REGISTER AS A VOTER, IS YOU MUST.

UN rights chief stresses importance of combating racism
www.chinaview.cn 2009-04-16 07:20:14

GENEVA, April 15 (Xinhua) -- The United Nations' top human rights official on Wednesday stressed the importance of combating racism and again urged countries to overcome their differences over an anti-racism conference to be held here next week.

"Lives are at stake. The future and hope of countless victims of racism lie in your hands," Navi Pillay, the UN high commissioner for human rights, told delegates at a preparatory meeting for the Durban Review Conference.

She also urged the delegates to "transcend their differences and find consensus" over the wording of a draft declaration to be issued at the end of the April 20-24 conference.

The Durban Review Conference is intended to take stock of progress and implementation of the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action (DDPA), a landmark anti-racism document that was agreed by consensus at the end of the 2001 World Summit against Racism in Durban, South Africa.

But Israel and several Western countries have threatened to boycott the meeting for fear that it could end as a repetition of the 2001 conference, which they say was an anti-Semitism forum.

"Eight years on, anti-racism pledges and measures have not yet succeeded in relegating discriminatory practices and intolerance to the heap of history's repugnant debris," Pillay told delegates at Wednesday's preparatory meeting.

"The goals set out in the DDPA have not been achieved. This reality should prompt us to seek common grounds where to move the struggle against racism forward," she said.

"The tools and capacity for achieving the goals outlined in the DDPA are within reach if we remain committed to those objectives," she added.

At Wednesday's meeting, a revised version of the draft declaration for the upcoming anti-racism conference was also issued.

Russian diplomat Yuri Boychenko, chair of the working group charged with developing the draft outcome document, expressed hope that the newly-revised 17-page text, based on extensive consultations with states, would meet the concerns of all delegations and could be adopted by consensus.

Najib Asks M'sians To Discard "Ethnic Silo" Mentality

KUALA LUMPUR, April 15 (Bernama) -- Malaysians should discard their 'ethnic
silo' mentality, said Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

The Prime Minister said Malaysians must "stand together, think and act as
one people under the '1Malaysia concept'."

"Lets break away from operating in the ethnic prism as we have done over so
many years. This is also the meaning of the '1Malaysia' concept.

"We must respect each other, go beyond tolerance and build trust among each
other and build trust between various ethnic groups," he told a press
conference here, Wednesday.

He said Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties for example, should not
necessarily be focusing their services in locations based on their own
ethnic groups.

Najib also cited the example of him releasing 13 Internal Security Act (ISA)
detainees on being sworn in as Malaysia's sixth prime minister on April 3.

"The MIC should have been thankful to the government for freeing the 13 and
not only focus on the two Hindraf members released.

"If we freed two Hindraf members, don't forget there were 11 others. Don't
think about Hindraf alone," he said.

The Prime Minister also said that he had explained the 1Malaysia concept to
the members of the new Cabinet at its first meeting in Putrajaya this
morning and reminded them "don't be just concerned about your own community
" but strive to fulfill the high expectations of all Malaysians.

"I stressed on four things, namely integrity, ability, loyalty and
commitment. The Cabinet must also be people-oriented in order to gain the
trust of the people," he said.

Besides this, he said, ministers should also be agents of change and bring
about reforms towards meeting the needs of the entire spectrum of society.

"We cannot be thinking the government knows everything. The doors to
dialogue must be open to all so that decisions made by the government truly
reflect the wishes of the people," he said.

Najib also reminded the ministers not to give the people the perception that
the government only favoured certain groups or corporate entities although
it was of utmost importance to carry out polices that were private-sector
friendly.

"But the bottom line is that any decision taken must be based on the overall
interests of the people," he said.

He said under the '1Malaysia' concept, if it concerned poverty eradication,
it should encompass all races irrespective of whether they were from urban
or rural areas, estates, new villages or aboriginal settlements.

"It ('1Malaysia') does not mean the policy to help the bumiputeras is
sidelined, in fact it will give implementation of the policy greater impetus
so as to ensure that eligible bumiputeras get their due consideration," he
said.

Besides this, he said, the '1Malaysia' concept should not be misinterpreted
by certain quarters for example the opposition and equate it to the
Malaysian Malaysia concept (championed by an opposition party).

1Malaysia concept will be explained to the people
17th April, 2009

KUALA LUMPUR: The 1Malaysia concept, which stresses harmony irrespective of religion, race or political ideology, will be explained to the people so that they can make it part of their daily lives, Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said yesterday.

He said the ministry, which was also responsible for ensuring that the concept was conveyed to the people, would use the agencies and departments under it to draw up programmes involving the rural and urban society, professionals, the civil service and others.

“Each segment (in the society) must contribute towards making 1Malaysia a success. It includes the interests of Sabah, Sarawak, the young generation and the priorities of the old generation through education and the public service,” he said.

The prime minister did not mention a syllabus or measurement because the 1Malaysia concept was only aimed at promoting harmony, irrespective of religious or political ideology, and prioritising productivity and the country as a developing nation which had scored high points in the eyes of the world, he said after the ministry’s monthly assembly at Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad here.

He said that to make the concept a success, the five departments under information, five under communications and 11 under culture would provide information and entertainment aimed at involving the society in the country’s major policies.

Earlier, in his speech, Dr Rais said civil servants should carry out their duties with distinction.

He said that the merger of the ministries meant that the staff concerned had a heavier responsibility.

“Our focus is to explain to the people. If we cannot do that, then it’s not right for the ministry to be called the information ministry,” he said.

He also wanted the staff to step up the use of Bahasa Malaysia and to be more sensitive to what was reported and written in the new media.

If this is true:
1.Give jobs to everybody and not limt to 100% Malay companies!
If it is true, why some civil servants retired but keep on extending and extending preventing others from promoting?

Talks and slogans - trademarks of polticicans. Will it come true?
May be just another BSs again and again.

Here is an extract of a letter from Rajah Charles Brooke to the people of Sarawak. It is as relevant now as it was then.

"I beg that you will listen to what I have to say, that you will recollect my words, and endeavour to call them to mind when I am no longer with you. I will make known of what is in my mind to my successor, but I can only be responsible during this my life time.

I have lived in this country now for 60 years, and for the greater part of that time as Rajah. I know that I feel as you do in every way regarding the present and future for the existence and welfare of the inhabitants. I think after so long a period you will allow me to open my mouth and give my opinion truthfully.

Has it ever occurred to you that after my time out here others may appear with soft and smiling countenances to deprive you of what is solemnly your right, and that is the very land on which you live.

This land is your inheritance on which your flesh and blood exists, the source of your income, the food even of your mouths.

If this is once lost to you, no amount of money could recover it. That is why the cultivation of your own land by yourselves or by those that live in the country is important to you now.

Cultivation by strangers, by those who might carry the value of their products out of the country to enrich their shareholders - such products should be realized by your own industries and for your own benefits.

Unless you follow this advice you will lose your birthright, which will be taken from you by strangers and speculators who will in their turn become masters and owners, whilst you yourselves, you people of the soil, will be thrown aside, and become nothing but coolies and outcasts of the island".

Why haven't you said anything since this article? Have you been nabbed?

I have been travelling throughout Sarawak, especially to the ulu areas in the last couple of weeks. No, I have not been nabbed. If I was, I could probably spill as many beans as the great RPK.

Apologies to all, internet connection has not yet come to most of the ulu areas of Sarawak and so have not been able to update my blog.
