Taib's Regime Spends Millions Of The Rakyat's Money Just To Show Off

Can Sarawak afford millions in showing off when
Posted by Sarawakians are starving and basic amenities poor? on August 03, 2009 at 03:55:27 at Sarawak Talk:

Taib Mahmud may want to show off to the Sultans and dignitaries from West Malaysia, but all these are done while hiding the truth that poor roads, sanitation, hospitals, transportation, low income employment, joblessness are plentiful and starving Sarawakians as well.

An average worker in Kuching earns 4 to 5 times less then his counter part in West Malaysia while food, housing, car and fuel cost almost the same.

The lack of opportunities in Sarawak are due to lack of investors in industries. Investors shy away from the state when they have to face hoards of YBs and civil servants asking for their shares before they are allowed access to the state.

Later when money is in, they are hounded day and night by government agencies' agents asking for handouts.

What is the point of more plantation, 1st silicon, pulp and paper mill when instead of being able to employ more locals, we are employing more foreigners? We do not spend the state resources to employ foreigners.

The education system is so fucked up that locals are more or less useless in industry. What is the point of high tech companies when locals are not qualified for employment due to poor education from a stupid education system.

For eg. 1st silicon, Koreans, Japanese and Europeans have to be employed for senior positions while Malaysian are reduced to junior and labour positions........and Sarawakians have to lose 4 billion to employ these people.

The governments of Malaysia and Sarawak are so scared of fair competition, shutting out companies like Air Asia, not allowing other airport management units, the construction industry, the car industry and a list of AP-needing companies that now finally has killed off keen investors and leaving all more or less monopolies running the country, killing the public with its pricing to feed an ever increasing hoard of inefficient, lazy and badly managed employees.

What is CMSB?

It is so badly managed by Taib Mahmud, his sons and brothers, that BNM even had to kick out Sulaiman Taib as Chairman of Bank Utama, all businesses in CMSB are run so corruptly and especially in its production and construction units that SIS has to shut down and cement has to be a monopoly while CMSB cannot tender for jobs because it cannot do anything that is less then 3 to 4 times cost.

Naim Cedera has to bank on the government to provide free land for development and needs to be continuously supplemented with construction projects from the government at very high prices and that goes for Titanium who now even has to bank on Taib Mahmud to force government bodies and agencies to rent its building at overpriced rentals.

That is why SCORE will fail, because other then a probable low cost electricity, there is nothing for investors and a lot of leeches around, supported by funny laws, police, judiciary and the government "right" to murder, maim and threaten.

SCORE is nothing more then robbing Sarawakian resources to increase Taib Mahmud's personal share in industries, with foreign help, foreign workers and foreign money. Sarawakians will benefit little from all what SCORE is, like the plantation and timber industry, Sarawakians generally benefit next to nothing except making the usual rich super rich.

All industries by Taib make the rich super rich and himself mega rich. Sarawakians have only low paying jobs, poor roads, high electricity rate, high water rate, poor education and next to nothing in term of police protection, rights and fairness.

AWANG TENGAH WAS SAYING IN THE NEWSPAPERS, THE PEOPLE MUST CONTINUE THE DEVELOPMENT OF THESE DEPRIVATIONS BY VOTING FOR THE SAME BULLSHIT BN GOVERNMENT.

AWANG TENGAH SHOULD KNOW A NEW GRADUATE EARNED 1,200 30 YEARS AGO AND A NEW GRADUATE NOW IS STILL EARNING 1,200 WHILE A BOWL OF LAKSA HAS INCREASED FROM 0.60 TO 3.50 AND A CAR FROM 6000 TO 35,000 AND A HOUSE FROM 35,000 TO 350,000.

WHAT AWANG TENGAH WANTS IS WE GET POORER, HE GETS RICHER AND WE SHOULD MAINTAIN THIS UNTIL WE NO LONGER FIND IT IS NECESSARY TO WORK AT ALL AND LIVE ON LOVE AND FRESH AIR.

WE SARAWAKIAN ARE A DEPRIVED LOT BECAUSE WE ARE ' CAWAT ', SCARED OF WHAT THAT WE DARE NOT CHANGE THE BULLSHIT GOVERNMENT? DAYAKS ARE SCARED OF THEIR NCL BEING TAKEN AWAY, SOME OF THE CHINESE DARE TO VOTE FOR CHANGE AND THE REST OF THE CHINESE VOTE FOR PARTNERSHIP WITH TAIB TO CHEAT OTHER SARAWAKIANS, THE REST OF THE POPULATION VOTE FOR THE BANDWAGON.

THE DAYAKS ARE THE GREATEST LOSERS, HAVING LANDS THAT ARE NEVER THEIRS, HAVING EDUCATION THAT IS GOOD FOR NOTHING, HAVING LEADERS THAT ARE 100% PUPPETS OF TAIB MAHMUD AND HAVING JOBS THAT NEED THEM TO STEAL TO SUPPLEMENT THEIR DAILY NEEDS.

YES, THE COUNTRY DEPENDS ON THE DAYAKS TO MATURE. MOST THINK THAT A SILLY FUTURE. MOST GRAB WHAT THEY CAN, DO WHAT THEY CAN AND GET OUT WHEN THEY CAN. THIS MENTALITY HAS CREATED THE MOST CORRUPTED STATE IN MALAYSIA, THE POOREST STATE IN MALAYSIA AND THE POOREST PEOPLE ARE THE DAYAKS IN MALAYSIA.

WHEN LIM GUAN ENG SAID DAYAKS ARE EARNING LESS THEN 200, DAYAK LEADERS QUICKLY SAID 500, WHEN THE POVERTY LINE IS 750 IN MALAYSIA......THE DAYAK LEADERS STUPIDLY AGREE WITHOUT EVEN REALISING THAT THEIR OWN PEOPLE ARE THE POOREST IN THE RICHEST RESOURCES FILLED STATE IN MALAYSIA. THEN DAYAKS SHOULD ASK THE DAYAK LEADERS FROM JUGAH TO MASING TO JABU, AFTER 45 YEARS OF THE SO CALL LEADERSHIP OPENLY AND STUPIDLY IT IS ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THE DAYAKS ARE THE POOREST IN THE WHOLE OF MALAYSIA.......IF DAYAK LEADERS ARE NOT PUPPETS MAKING THE DAYAKS POOR WHAT ARE THEY?

It is indeed not easy to oppose a regime which pretends to bring development for the people under the guise of good governance and democracy when they are doing the exact opposite and the general population are unaware of the real situation. We must all do our part little by little to create that awareness among the people. Change we will and change we must!
